Who coined the term "stay at home mom" anyway??

Because I am rarely home. Here are the places I went, just today:
8:15 -Leave for school (about 20 minute drive)
9:00-walk Gracie to her class, get back to Cameron's class to work
11:00-Pick Gracie up from class
11:30- Cameron's out, get his carseat from the car and put it in his friends car so he can go on a playdate.
11:45- Take Gracie to the store
12:15-Lunch with Gracie
1:00- go to the park
1:30- Go to Walgreens
2:00-Pick Cameron up at friends house
2:15-drive home
2:30-home-get Gracie down for a nap
2:45 Sit down for the first time today(except for driving!)
3:15-dishes,laundry
4:15 leave for the Gym
6:00-home from the gym. Make dinner, give baths
7:00 let Cameron watch TV so I can rest
7:30-Scott's finally home-collapse on the couch!!
6:30AM-Tomorrow-start over.

WOW! When we complete our adoption for our little Gracie, I am going to be a stay at home mom for a while too... sounds like the "stay" part isn't exactly all it's cracked up to be eh?
LOL

Wbew! I think you've got a good point there. Maybe we need to come up with a better term. How about "On the go Mom" or "In the car Mom" or "Working for the little man Mom". Heh. Cracking myself up here. Guess I should just go get in the shower and get started with my day. Have a good one, hope you get some downtime today.

And in the periods that you are actually there, don't expect to get anything constructive done.

You are only there to entertain and feed your children..

if you attempt to do anything else, you will be interrupted by cries or a chorus of "mommy, mommy, mommy". I tried several times yesterday to assemble a highchair. It's still sitting in pieces in the other room.
