If I go back to work, can I still be a stay at home mom??

I have always wanted children. The more the better(when I didn't know how HARD it was!). I have also always wanted to stay at home and raise them. I was a nanny for 3 years and I didn't want that for my kids. I wanted to be there and see it all...I think kids can be fine in day care or with a nanny if they are loved and cared for, but that isn't what I want for my family. After saying all that...I am going back to work! And I am excited about it! I have missed teaching. I am going to be the assistant teacher in the 3 year class at Cameron and Gracie's school next year. And the best part is that is is when they would be in school anyway, so technically, I will still be staying at home with them! The best of both worlds. We will just see how well I juggle all of this...

If I can write during naptimes and bed times, you can do this. I know it. Of course, you'll have 3, which is an added complication, but a little distraction may be a good thing.

I'm sure you can manage it if you are excited about it. Free tuition doesn't hurt, either!

Hey good for you on both counts (gym and assistant teacher). Very cool! My mom was always a teacher once we were old enough to be in school and always loved the way the timing worked out with having essentially the same hours as us. Anyhow, it sounds great and I can't wait to hear more.

(PS: On an unrelated note: if you go into your Blogger settings and uncheck the setting to have comments show up in a pop-up window you'll be able to read them easier -- less scrolling)

Really? When do you start? Will you do this after my new niece comes home too? Oh, I so wish I lived closer. I would be your nanny for you!
For free too! :) Thanks for the basket(bucket?) Full of goodies. It was soooo yummy. (And half gone already!)
