Happy New Year and leaving on a cruise!
That's right, we are going on a four day cruise WITHOUT the children! Why have I not mentioned this before, you ask? Well, because I have sort of been in denial about it....Scott got it for me for my 35th birthday on January 5th and I have been wavering between being more excited than I have ever been and being sick to my stomach at the thought of leaving them....I have never left them for so long. It would be fine if they were staying with Aunt Michelle the entire 5 days, but Michelle had to go back to work so they will be with a babysitter for half of it. And this is the part I am nervous about. I just spent an hour and a half typing out EVERY little detail of my day with the kids and I am exhausted just reading it! It is four pages long, my life reduced to 4 pages...I do A LOT!!! I hope Aunt Michelle and the babysitter can handle it....

The Gingerbread house...
I decided to forgo the Santa picture and put up The gingerbread house making pictures....But I am kind of embarrassed now, after having seen Stacey's master piece! Oh well, we had fun...
I love Christmas Cards!
Here are the cards I have recieved so far...I love to see how everyone's kids have grown and read their letters about their year.(although I didn't write one this year, too busy!) I think that is why I love blogs so much, I get a glimpse into other people's lives and see how they do things(even if I don't know you-LOL). I think people should send out christmas cards every 6 months!

There's no place like home...
Well, after posting video of Cameron's favorite present form his Aunt and Uncle, I had to post a picture of Gracie's favorite present from her Uncle Braden and Aunt Carrie...the sparkly red shoes! She will not take them off, yesterday she took a nap in them! And she won't wear any other shoes, so rainy days are fun! She shows everyone and says "shoes, pitty (pretty!)"

The work out that kicked my Ummm...Behind
So I met with a personal trainer on Monday. She gave me some new exercise to try, working on my "core". It is only four exercises. FOUR. How can I be so sore?? The one that really got me was this one.It is called "Ball Squats". I can hardly move. We have 3 stories in our house and I can barely walk up the stairs...Forget it if I am trying to carry a child! And this is 4 days later! That is how out of shape I am...It is a great workout and I hope to be able to do it again someday!

*WARNING* Gross poop story ahead...
Today I put Gracie down for her nap (naps are good...) and I went upstairs only to hear her coughing a lot from the monitor. I realized she was due for her nebulizer treatment so I went back down and gave it to her and left again. Well, if you have ever read Julie's blog, you would know that Albuterol makes some kids hyper...So I could hear her for the next hour singing and playing in her crib. Then she started crying, not loud at first, but then increasingly more upsetting. So I start to go down and check on her and then I hear her saying " Poo Poo...Mama Poo poo". I knew it couldn't be good...I opened the door and the stench hit me first. My little sweetie was naked in her crib, no clothes, no diaper...nada...AND she had pooped in her crib and had it EVERYWHERE. Into the bath...No nap for Mommy or Gracie...
Soccer star!
Here Cameron is in his Soccer class. It is all four year olds and it is the cutest thing...They have teams but they all cheer no matter who makes a goal (even if they score in the wrong goal!) and they all yell out "GOOOOAAAALLLL" when they make it!! On the way today Cameron says to me"Mom, it's not about winning, it's about having fun". That's right. I hope he remembers that when he is 10...
