Potty Training-revisited

Well,
I had completely given up on Potty Training my child. After this post, I just decided to lay off. Well, Gracie kept saying "I go potty when I free (three)". That came and went. She started lying to people when they asked her. She would say "I go pee pee in potty!" (Liar). Then she started refusing to wear diapers and saying "I no wear diaper, I BIG girl!". Okey Dokey. Then why did you just pee all over the cart in the middle of Target without saying a word? So I insisted that if she didn't go in the potty, then she must wear diapers. Well, now we are trying it again and it is going well. So far two days without accidents. I know not to get too excited, though. Last time she went 6 weeks before she changed her mind!

Oh, the joys I have to look forward too. Not to self...carry things on person to deal with cart-peeing incidents.

Hee Hee! I love when she tells complete strangers "I go pee pee in the potty". So funny! And she's not a liar, she just has an active imagination! :)

Oh gosh. Good luck. We're not far behind you. Charlotte does the same thing ...telling people that she goes peepee in the potty.

But I make her wear pull-ups anyway. For now.

ohh no...at it again is she...
she'll get there Lisa!

Meigan is STILL not dry at night...so she's wearing nighttime pullups to bed...It's 10:51pm and I'm debating right now if I'm going to get her up and put her on the potty and see if she goes...she'll either go, or scream like a banshee and wake up Catie and Brian...ugh...

I realized last week, that I completely, totally forgot Gracie's birthday...because I found the invite buried in a pile of Catie's school papers that I was to file away....I'm SO SORRY!!!!!

Gracie will get there..funny she tells people she goes...she IS a funny little twinkie...

Did our kids call each other? Cuz Eva is spouting that same sentiment.

I have decided that until she walks into the bathroom and uses the potty, I am not worrying about it... she trains herself or we buy depends... one or the other.
