Yeah, it does to me too...I now present pictures from this year's snow trip...

This is Bear Valley. Well, about 15 miles south of Bear Valley. We mostly stayed close to the cabin. This is the second time I have been to "Bear Valley"and not actually been to Bear Valley!

Craftiness abounds

I had been wanting to try these refrigerator magnets for a while. They came out pretty cute, but I couldn't get a better picture of them...

These are so easy to make! I just used those semi flat stones that you use in vases and things. I used the larger ones, but you could use any size. Then I cut out the things I wanted out of scrapbook paper and pictures. I glues them on the back and glued a small magnet on. So easy!

Some good shots

I am in no way a photographer. (I just wish I were). But I love taking pictures. I really this Camera some day. Then I would take a photography class. But I like these shots I took. I like the way the horses on the carousel are blurry. I love the light behind the horse. And the last one is for my Mid West and East Coast Friends. I hope you see this very soon!

Time for my yearly pilgrimage...

to the Scrapbook Expo!!. 3 days of hanging out with my sister, eating, and best of all,scrap booking!! I am even looking forward to the plane ride where I can read a book the whole time! I'll write more from the O.C. and show you my new obsession,er, I mean hobby of embroidering. It is addicting! Check out this site to learn more about it...

Happy Heart Day!!

I wanted the kids to make their own Valentine's, but they had other ideas,so we compromised. Semi-homemade! Here is what I am bringing to the Valentine party. Heart chicken salad sandwiches for the parents and teachers. And last, don't have a cute bag to put your valentine cookies for the teacher in? Make one!.



I just hot glued some foam hearts to a zip lock bag. Only use a little bit and glue it on before the glue gets too hot.

Boys are Gross

I just happened to walk by the bathroom and glance in. I see Cameron standing about 3 feet back from the toilet trying to "aim" it in! I yell out "NO"! and startle him, he jumps and proceeds to pee all over the wall behind the toilet!
Boys are Gross.

Valentine overalls

This months get your craft on challenge is hearts. I first made some of these hearts into cards, then decided to make a pair of Valentine Overalls for Gracie. I like the way they turned out, but I feel like it needs something more.

I love Sundays

This is what we did today instead of watch some foot ball game. We heard it was going to be 70 degrees (wasn't I just complaining about this?) so we headed off to the "beach" (really the bay.) There was so much traffic, we thought everyone else had the same idea! But really, it was because the Queen Mary 2 was coming to town. So we got to see that, too!

Donna and I were out today and saw this sign at the entrance to their little zoo. I thought it was hilarious!
