My new favorite thing...
I am always looking for things that save time, especially after going back to work. I started ordering my groceries from S@feway.com. No dragging two screaming kids to the store! Then I found these. Once in a while, I will buy these. Not very often, though, because they don't come in wheat. Then I found Dream Dinners. I am so excited! I went today for the first time and made 6 meals in 40 minutes, for $50.00! My freezer is stocked for those "what the heck are we going to eat tonight?" nights. Basically, you go there and they have all of the fresh ingredients and you assemble the meals and package them to freeze. You can go with a friend and split 12 meals, and get 6 each (which is really 12 meals, because you can split those). I suggest you try it if you are short on time! (aren't we all?).

It's the plague! Stay away!
Last week, Cameron got some kind of stomach bug. Up all night throwing up. Then I got it. I thought we were over it, and then tonight he Does it again. I have seen more puke in one week than I need to see in a lifetime! Thank God for the carpet cleaner...

Potty Training-revisited
Well,
I had completely given up on Potty Training my child. After this post, I just decided to lay off. Well, Gracie kept saying "I go potty when I free (three)". That came and went. She started lying to people when they asked her. She would say "I go pee pee in potty!" (Liar). Then she started refusing to wear diapers and saying "I no wear diaper, I BIG girl!". Okey Dokey. Then why did you just pee all over the cart in the middle of Target without saying a word? So I insisted that if she didn't go in the potty, then she must wear diapers. Well, now we are trying it again and it is going well. So far two days without accidents. I know not to get too excited, though. Last time she went 6 weeks before she changed her mind!

I got nothin'.
Sorry, but true. Nothing to say. Work, eat, sleep, play with kids. Repeat. Nothing interesting at all. And yet, I still write about it. They are considering kicking out the really aggressive kid at school, which would make my life (at work) easier, but I am feeling guilty. Where is he going to go? I just wish we could help him in some way. My kids are not perfect, and Cameron certainly has his issues. What if his teacher just decided to kick him out? Now, his issues are nothing compared to this child, but still. It is hard. Oh, and I might be out of a job next year because they may combine the pre-k classes and the pre-k aide might take my job. I was surprisingly sad about it. Oh, look, I did have something to say after all.

Cool new bed

Cameron has been wanting one like this for a while and I finally found one on Craigslist. Craigslist rocks! Also, I think that anyone considering marriage should have to put one of these together. If you are both still alive at the end, go for it!

Fleet Week
This weekend was Fleet Week in San Francisco. Thousoands of people come out to see the Blue Angels. Cameron wasn't as impressed as I thought he would be, and Gracie just thought they were too loud! But we enjoyed it and We had our usual gorgeous fall weather.
Gracie was so tired that she fell asleep while on Scott's shoulders!

TGIT (Thank God It's Thursday!)
Thursday. My only day off during the week. What should I do? Go to lunch with Gracie? Go to the Gym? I'll probably clean the house. Sigh. I realized that every time the babysitter came, the first thing I would say is "sorry the house it such a mess". After 10 or so times of this, I just told her "I won't say that anymore, you can just see for yourself!!"

Indecisive
So Gracie and I are at the Disney store and they are having a sale on Halloween costumes. She walks in and sees all of the Princesses and says "OOOHHH, Pretty!" So I tell her she can pick any one she wants. She goes right for this one. I was so excited! How cute is that? Then she sees this one. Still cute and she has the hair to go with it! We are almost out of there, she is even trying on the cutest boots to go with it. Then she sees this. It's all over. It was too good to pass up. Too many Princesses, too little time...

I HAD to borrow this!
OK, so after an hour phone conversation with Cameron's Pre-school teacher about his behavior (when they call you at home, it isn't good!) I was reading blogs and saw this. I laughed so hard I cried and then cried some more. So I Stole it from My favorite blogger.ARRG Blogger wouldn't let me upload it, so you have to go there.. Here it is:
What I do all day...
I got this from an E mail joke, so you may have heard it, but I thought it was great!
"What Do You Do All Day?"
A man came home from work and found his three children outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard. The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog. Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall. In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door. He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she might be ill, or that something serious had happened. He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor. Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel. She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went. He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?" She again smiled and answered, "You know everyday when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world I do all day?" "Yes," was his incredulous reply. She answered, "Well, todayI didn't do it."
